Austin has spent the past 20+ years running and buying software companies. He started his career at Alex Brown doing software IPOs and M&A, then worked for Harbinger Corp, an acquisitive e-commerce software client he had taken public at Alex Brown. After Harbinger, Austin sold software for IBM, then transitioned to venture capital and private equity where he spent six years as a deal principal and built origination teams and systems at Advanced Technology Ventures and H.I.G. Capital, respectively. Austin left private equity to run a software company owned by a family office in 2011, then transitioned to acquiring companies for the same group in 2012. Austin founded Razorhorse that year to source the deals he executed for the family office. In 2017, Austin founded PowerUP Scholarship fund to help disadvantaged kids find a path to success. Austin holds a BA from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
David has been an operator, investor, and advisor in the enterprise technology space for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Razorhorse, David was a Partner at Edison Partners, where he participated in 15 financings and sat on the boards of Edison portfolio companies ItemMaster (acquired by Syndigo/The Jordan Company), Pixability, Pandologic, Arkadium, Neat, Cadient Group (acquired by Cognizant), and CheckpointHR (acquired by PeopleStrategy). He started his career in the late ’90s as a developer, with stints at startup companies as well as roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM. He then joined A.C Lordi, a startup in the risk and compliance space, which he helped scale to an acquisition by a PE syndicate. David has a BS from Lehigh University and an MBA from NYU Stern.
Michael joined Razorhorse in 2022, and focuses on origination and deal execution. Prior to joining Razorhorse, Michael worked as a Client Portfolio Manager at SpiderRock Advisors, where he helped develop and implement customized derivative hedging solutions for financial institutions. Previously, he held numerous Sales and Strategy roles within BlackRock’s US Wealth Advisory. Michael holds degrees in Economics and Communications from Rutgers University, where he was a member of the Ice hockey team. New Jersey-born, Michael splits his time between the US and Germany. Outside of Razorhorse he enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time with his family (especially his nephew, Hudson).
Dominic joined Razorhorse in 2023 as part of the origination team. Prior to joining Razorhorse in 2023, Dominic was head of Investment and Strategy for Fortis Digital, a cryptocurrency hedge fund. Dominic focused on building quantitative algorithms and leading the fundraising initiative. Previously, Dominic enlisted in the Air National Guard where he ranked top of his class while working with both the Army and the Air Force. Dominic started his career in insurance, leading a sales team of twenty agents and received a B.S. in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Outside of Razorhorse, Dominic enjoys live music, lifting, and spending time with family.
Raphael joined Razorhorse in 2021 and focuses on origination and deal execution. Prior to Razorhorse, he signed up Fortune 500 cloud and analytics teams at Swoon, a technology-focused talent firm. Previously, Raphael led the business development team at AGC Partners, a software-focused investment bank, where he sourced several engagements across North America and Europe. Raphael holds a degree in International Politics and Economics with a concentration on Mandarin Chinese from Middlebury College where he was an Academic Scholar. A French-American native, he is currently located in Chicago where he enjoys cycling, soccer, and exploring local coffee shops.
Ryan joined Razorhorse in 2022, and focuses on origination and deal execution. Prior to joining Razorhorse, he worked at Constellation Software, and in corporate development roles. He obtained his CPA designation from Ernst & Young, and earned his undergraduate degree with a specialty in accounting from the Richard Ivey School of Business. Ryan has traveled to forty countries, and in his free time, enjoys playing sports, and watching the Toronto Raptors.
Prior to Razorhorse, he was part of the Investment Development team at Arcadea Group, a Toronto-based vertical software investor. Previously, Ryan has worked in origination and business development at Espresso Capital, a leading venture debt provider, in investment banking at Valitas Capital Partners, and spearheaded sales at Medchart, a venture-backed health/legal tech business. Ryan holds a degree in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Toronto. Born and raised in Scarborough, Ryan enjoys long-distance running, riding bikes (both motorized and human-powered), cooking, and spending time with his family and pets.
Prior to joining Razorhorse in 2020, Miles was VP of Finance and Head of Product at Lenox Park, an asset management technology venture based in New York and backed by renowned institutional investors. In this role, Miles focused on fundraising and financial modeling while quarterbacking all of product development. Previously, Miles worked at VMG Health, a sell-side valuation and M&A group covering transactions in healthcare and biotech. Miles began his career at Vinson & Elkins, LLP, and received a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Outside the office, Miles writes crime thriller novels and spends summers on the lakes around Austin.
Liliana joined Razorhorse in 2014, primarily focused on origination, and has sourced a number of investments including DISCO, Glooko, RiskIQ, Tealium, TraceLink, Welltok, Lattice Engines, Aera technologies, and Chorus.ai. Previously Liliana held various entrepreneurial and management roles: Assistant Country Manager of Nortel SEE, Organizational Development Consultant at ISR, Operations Manager at ST Microelectronics, and Marketing Executive in Swiss startups. Liliana holds an MBA in Management of Technology focusing on entrepreneurship and innovation (joint program of EPFL University of Lausanne, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and McCombs Business School/University Texas at Austin). Liliana works remotely from Switzerland or Serbia, whenever possible. She enjoys reading biographies, travelling, or spending time with her family and pets.
Christopher joined Razorhorse at the start of 2023 and focuses on origination and deal execution. Prior to joining Razorhorse, Chris worked at Serent Capital, Akoya Capital Partners, and Axial. His career has been focused on connecting investors with CEOs that run great businesses. Chris earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and remains a devout IU basketball fan. New Haven-born, Chris has been to 46 states and still hasn’t found pizza that compares to his hometown.
Dan joined Razorhorse in 2021 as part of the originations team. Prior to joining, he worked as a Business Development and Sales professional in the HR-Tech space for 3 years. Dan received a Bachelors Degree from Boston College where he captained the crew team. Dan resides in Boston and enjoys travelling, playing golf, and trying new restaurants.
Rosy joined Razorhorse in 2012 primarily focused on origination, and has sourced a number of investments including Quantum Retail, Lyris, MessageOne, Thinkvine, DNN, TrueFit, Fiix, NewNet, Tecnotree, and Falconstor. Rosy has over 15 yrs of inside sales experience and was a regional manager in a manufacturing company selling to the automotive and lumber industry. Rosy managed 15 salespeople in addition to being in charge of her own territory. Chicago-born, Rosy currently lives in Sicily, Italy. Outside of Razorhorse, Rosy enjoys spending time with her two sons and creating art, particularly paintings and pottery.
Roman joined Razorhorse in 2017 and is focused on financial analysis. Prior to Razorhorse, he spent five years at PwC doing audit and financial modeling work. Roman is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has a master’s degree in Finance from Donetsk National University, Ukraine. Roman lives in Kyiv, Ukraine with his wife. He is passionate about cycling and mountain trekking.
Pradheep joined Razorhorse in 2018. Prior to his current role as the Head of Operations at Razorhorse, he headed customer support operations at Aurea software and worked with Deloitte consulting as a CRM consultant. He brings to us his extensive knowledge in technology stack selection, vendor management, process design and improvement, business analysis and strategy. He is an expert in post-acquisition support integration. Pradheep has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, and a bachelors degree in computer science from College of Engineering, Guindy. In his free time, he loves to watch movies and read books on public policy, biographies, management, and Tamil literature. He currently works out of Bangalore, India.
